He informed us that from October 1977, when this car came home from the dealership, until earlier this year, when his father passed away, this car has been absolutely adored and always garage-kept. His father took great pride in the car and exercised it regularly, accumulating almost 75k summertime miles over the course of his forty-three year ownership. As it sits today, this car is a seriously impressive survivor that is ready to be used and enjoyed straightaway. Exterior: This car appears to retain much of its original paint, with just the lower gold portion showing any signs of previous paint work. Paint presents very well, with no visible run or peeling or anything of the sort. There are a handful of small chips that have been touched-up, as well as some wrinkling of the polished wheel flare trim. The plastic filler panel strip in the rear shows its age, glass and light lenses are all clear and crack-free. Chrome is excellent – mirror-like, with no oxidation or damage.
