Selling my 1972 Corvette Stingray. It has a 350 (non numbers matching) engine with a TH400 automatic transmission, headers and Flowmaster exhaust. The rear end was completely rebuilt, Posi, gear, bearings etc. with less than a few hundred miles on it, I have the receipts for this work. The engine runs nicely and has a brand new Edelbrock carburetor and tach drive HEI distributor. I bought this car from an estate, I don't know when then engine and trans were rebuilt but the engine doesn't smoke and the trans shifts are tight. I don't believe there were many miles put on the motor and trans since they were rebuilt. The engine also holds great oil pressure. The steering is tight and the brakes are good, the car handles very well. The car shows 50,XXX miles on the odometer. I also installed a new fuel filter and hard line to the carburetor. The Torch red paint is really nice, with just a few small blemishes, the body is very straight. This is not a perfect car, it does need some updates in the interior. The headlights do not pop up, they have to be raised manually but I am including an electric headlight motor kit I purchased and never installed. The tach cable is broke but it has a brand new tach drive HEI distributor. It also needs a new brake lever console. The speedometer, oil pressure, temp, fuel, and battery gauge all work. The original radio works but I removed the rear speakers, they were just older box style speakers and were not mounted. All of the lights and turn signals also work. This is definitely not a perfect Corvette ready for judging, but it is a fun car to drive and enjoy. I have a clean Michigan title, this vehicle is also listed locally. |
