Seller's Notes BARN FIND Exterior For sale is this 1948 Ford F100 barn find. Gentleman owned it for years and passed away. I purchased to help out his wife and we towed it out of the garage it had been sitting in for 8+ years. Ended up bringing it home and tinkering with it. replaced rubber fuel line from tank to pump, did all new calipers and pads, pumped out the old fuel and dumped in 8 gallons of leaded race fuel, and did new rear brake lines. Don’t know too much about the drivetrain besides it is a Chevy v8, 3 spd auto trans, and disc brakes all around. Engine appears to have a cam, headers, etc. Truck is running and I have driven it around the block. Carb could probably use some tinkering to make run perfect but it does run, drive, and stop. interior in good shape has a good sound system. Absolutely rust free body. Underside has surface rust but nothing structural and zero rot. just from sitting in the garage all these years. Fuel cell is in the wooden box in the bed. Electric fan for cooling engine. overall a good driver that you can take to local shows/cruises and have a good time. Email with any questions and I can send you video of it running. Interior Engine Deposits are nonrefundable. Created on the eBay Motors app |
