I have listed my 1950 Wills CJ2A. It is Maryland titled 1950 Willys CJ2A and the Vin tag confirms. I purchased this Jeep appx. 5 years ago and it was literally a barn find. I spent several years making improvements to this Jeep and have had it tagged on the road appx they last three years. Some of the things I have done to it. New fuel tank, Rear folding seat added, Customized swing out CJ5 spare tire holder made to hold a 5 gallon Gas can and tire. CJ5 rims and Warn Locking Hubs. This has a three speed transmission with reverse and a two speed transfer case with High/Low 2WD/4WD Neutral. I kept the jeep 6 volt as it worked fine that way but it can be converted to 12 volt if you desire. I have replaced all the gauges except the speedometer/odometer. All of the gauges work. I re-wired the jeep and added a vintage sig-flare turn signal on the column, All of the lights, turn signals, brake lights, fog lights and horn work. Even the high beam switch on the floor and the red dash indicator work along with the instrument panel light work. I made the seats from vintage BMW M3 leather I had left over from a re-fit. They have plywood backs custom made to fit the seat pan and seat back. If you don't like the leather you can easily re-cover them using the plywood I made. I rebuilt the Carter W-O Carburetor a few years. The coil, and points, condenser and plugs are fairly new. I installed a new fuel pump, pressure regulator, water pump, Radiator hoses, Battery cables in the heaviest gauge I could that is correct for 6 volt so it gets the most Amps when starting. I have kept this jeep in my garage since I have owned it and it has been on a 6 volt battery tender which will come with it. This motor has the Kaiser Supersonic High Compression Head as well. I added the Oil bath air cleaner set up from vintage and new Willys/parts and reconditioned. I added the Oil filter housing as well. I have taken apart the front steering knuckles a few years ago. replaced the steering knuckle bearings and grease/dirt sweeps on the back of the knuckles. I replaced the master cylinder and wheels cylinders and added new brake lines where needed. a few years ago. I added a CJ5 soft top for a little cover which will come with the jeep. I have replaced all the fluids in the jeep over that last year or two. I have not put many miles on this jeep since owning it as Life has become very busy and I unfortunately do not have much time to take it out. The jeep, starts, runs, drives and stops as it should. This Willys has all Drum brakes and Will Not stop like a modern car with Disc brakes. The brakes do work as they should. I have not had this jeep off roading at all as I do not have any places local to take it but I imagine it would be a blast off road. I hope it can find a new owner who can spend more time enjoying it and maybe taking it off road as well. The roll bar is bolted to the steel fender wells and hard backed with a steel mounting plate underneath. It is not mounted directly to the frame. The seatbelts are out of a CJ5. This jeep did not come with either of these items originally. This jeep would have originally had a floor start button and there is a hole for it but when I got it it can with a keyed ignition. I added a vintage willys Cigarette lighter in the dash more for decoration as I don't smoke. There is a choke cable and a throttle cable on the dash which work. There is a correct headlight switch and a vintage fog light switch too.
