| 1968 mercury montego mx. 302 auto ps manual drum brakes. Runs and drives excellent. Starts right up runs super quiet and super smooth. Does 70mph comfortably. Has new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and all rubber hoses, tires are in great shape. All original interior in very good shape with a perfect dash pad. Carpet was replaced 2 years ago. Floors are mint as are cowls and torque boxes. Only rust is the very small spot on the pass rear quarter as seen in the pic. Full cowl was cleaned painted and reseamsealed to make sure the inside is bone dry. I bought the car with a damaged drivers rear door so I replaced it and the body shop was supposed to blend it but just ended up paining both doors and the rear quarter. It's a bit off but I was going to have the whole car reaprayed eventually it all looks decent with a good buff and polish but like I said those panels are clearly a different shade like you can see in the pic. It needs a good polish job as most of the paint t is a bit dull. I have the left over paint t from the body shop if you just want to paint the fender to make it even. All and all a great rust free smooth running mercury that will take you anywhere. | |
