1950 Oldsmobile 88 Deluxe I'm an old mechanic and as my hobby I enjoy doing finishing touches to old cars in detail. Most Everything goes through the media cabinet and gets reconditioned. This is a very solid car for being 70 years old, and drives very nice. It had low compression when I bought it, from sitting, so I pulled engine and transmission, straightened out all of the accumulated issues to make it a nice reliable car. Complete engine rebuild, cooked block and heads, mains, rods, cam bearing, rings, timing chain, all freeze plugs, valve job, etc. Went through all engine components, has new Delco battery, and almost new radiator. Corrected wiring and light issues, treated surface rust on underside with Ospho. Everything works. Paint and bright-ware have a few nicks and scratches.
