CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This car rides and handles like a newer C4 corvette with front and rear suspension and brakes and drivetrain from c4 corvette. Adjustable Qa1 shocks on all four corners, new tires. If you were to go for a ride in this car wearing a blind fold you would never know you were in a 1960’s car. If you have ever driven an old car before you know how finicky the engines can be, especially driving from town to the lake with the change in altitude. This has modern C4 fuel injection with a tune to match the motor by programmed chip that learns your driving habits. With the newer suspension it handles corners great! Borg-warner 5 speed manual transmission with a new McLeod twin disc clutch for easy shifting, powered by a new gm goodwrench 350 v8 300hp with all sensors replaced and updated with new fuel injectors. The gm goodwrench engine from scoggin dickie has less than 300 miles on it.Red with tan interior, like new soft top and painted to match hard top w/stand to store when not in use. Power rack and pinion steering. Plenty of power for this small and light little car. The prior owner put lots of time and money into making this restomod a great car for anyone who wants a really nice looking car that runs and performs like a newer corvette. It also has an updated stereo made to look like original with a six disc cd changer in the rear. There is a brand new stainless fuel tank from Ricks tanks with a new fuel pump integrated into it to reduce the noise of an external pump. It has an aftermarket AC system that needs to be charged and sorted. A billet fuel filter is plumbed inline. The car is not perfect (in the world of corvette collections) and could use some tlc but bang for the buck you will not find a car that gets as many style points yet still delivers in performance and reliability. Unfortunately I have my eye on a new corvette and there’s only room in the garage for 1 toy. My loss is your gain. This can be had for $45,000 but I’m open to trade up or down for something interesting like a 1932 Ford roadster, 1967-69 Camaro.
