You can see some of this work on my project journal at If the link does not work just look up "cole's journel" from the project list. I have a clean California title in my possession I am only selling this because I inherited a house in Colorado and I need some cash to get it ready to sell. The car drives excellent and does not overheat even in Los Angeles during the summer. It's always been a garage car and the frame is RUST FREE. I only drove it every few weeks to work on Friday and to the beach on a few weekends during summer. I also have a 1968 SS Camaro and drove it most of the time I went cruising. I love this car and obviously it's an attention grabber anywhere it goes. I have probably put $20,000 + in parts alone into this car and that does not include all the labor. All of the floors are solid and I am including pics of areas of the car in a disassembled state so you can really see what you get! Obviously the engine is not original as it's a 350 so it's priced as a resto-mod. I had to do a lot to get this car the way I wanted it and it's a damn good deal. You could drive this car from LA to NY with no problems. The wiring is excellent with no issues. The speedometer just stopped working (figures) and I swapped the cable and alas no go, BUT all the gauges including the original clock and tach work, just not the speedometer. My builds reflect my obsessive compulsive disorder and I pay attention to detail. The car is not perfect and the paint looks good from 10 feet away but I wanted to repaint it but that is just me though as I know every little paint imperfection many don't even notice. Things it needs. A new emergency brake cable from the front to the mid-connection X as it is stretched beyond adjusting point. The Speedometer just stopped working, I replaced the cable but it did not fix the problem. The windshield is old. The backup lights do not come on when you put it in reverse because the switch for it is missing on the trans. There is no spare tire in the rear under-compartment. The car also comes with a new rear valance as I was going to put side exhaust on and it has no holes in it. It also comes with a new in box factory appearance correct electronic Tach that is not installed, currently it has the mechanical one going to the MSD ignition and it works fine. If you want to come look at it it's in the SFV area of Los Angeles. If you want me to have it inspected for you that is not a problem, but you have to pay for it and keep the location close to where I live. All transportation is the buyers responsibility. |
