CLEAR TITLE IN HAND This Classic Mustang Fastback truly symbolizes the great American dream. Powering this 65 Mustang for sale is the original 289 cubic inch V-8 engine. Backed by the C4 Auto transmission. and power steering. Has a great set of modern wheels b/g rod works gunmetal machined wheels. Staggered 215/45 zr 17 front 235/40 zr18 rear With "NEW" tiresThis is a "A" code Metuchen car. Extensive restoration work has been done to this car. Just about every piece of sheet metal has been replaced. She looks to be a fairly early Fastback with some shreds of "GT" roots. Cant tell for sure but the steering box is tagged HCC AW (quick ratio box) the wiring harness looks correct for a GT as the wiring is there for the fog lights. Instrument cluster is original with a C65 part number. Theres not much more to go on and sadly Marti does not have records for 65-66 Mustangs. This restoration has been going on for many years. It is now at the stage where the next person can finish her off. Pick your colors finish the body and interior. These cars sell for 50,000 - 70,000 dollars our asking price is far below that and obvious well above all the trash that's out there. Original engine and trans Car is classified as a "Yard Driver" There are the original Disc Brakes up front they need to be done. we have installed a new emergency brake cable so there is a working parking brake which is a big deal when it comes to transportation.
