CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Nice restorable 1969 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. non numbers matching 454 Automatic. Needs a full restoration. Vin number 136679B343XXX The B is for made at the Baltimore Maryland Plant. The data plate Shows it was made 1D which means January 4th week. Paint code is 71 Bright Blue Metallic. Interior code 764 Dark Blue coated fabric. I have two original build sheets matching to the data plate Body # U113847 dated 1-28-69 these assembly pages were on top of the gas tank when it was removed. Has a Big block 454ci. and a 400 hydro automatic in it. The heater core is not hooked up. Currently not running but looks like it wouldn't take much to get it running and driving. The quarter panel was cut off before me. Car has less than typical rust. Has a dent in drivers door. Frame looks fine condition, rockers look great, cowl and windshield pillars at the dash look great. The windshield frame excellent as is the cowl. The convertible top frame and hydraulics all look great. Original wheels with 2 excellent tires, 1 tire about 50% tread and the other not much tread, 1 wheel cap missing. nice blue bucket seats that go with car. All windshield chrome trim and hood edge fender edge and most all trim in good condition. Will need to be trailered and needs to be stored inside because no convertible top fabric but all the convertible frame and mechanics all there. Car needs quarter panels for sure. The floor has rust holes as does trunk but not as bad as what you normally see. It is a great car to restore and has a good foundation to build from.
