CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
Up for sale is an amazing, low mileage preservation car. This unique 1963 Corvair Monza coupe has travelled just 29,985 miles and is in incredible original condition, from the paint to the chrome to the drivetrain and interior. Finished in a beautiful and rarely seen Laurel Green with a perfect fawn colored bucket seat interior, this car gains attention everywhere it goes. Fitted with a silky smooth Poweglide automatic transmission and an incredibly good running, base 84HP flat six, this Corvair will not disappoint. Upon my purchase in 2017 where it was traded by it's second owner at a Chevy dealership in OH, I had the car gone though front to back mechanically and had everything attended to. From brakes to fuel system and a tune-up upon which the ORIGINAL AC spark plugs were replaced (originals included in the sale). This car needs for NOTHING.Unfortunately as the pics will show, the original owner had a bit of an issue with a leaking brake line and a chain link fence. I made the decision to leave the damage which is confined the the far rear of the left 1/4 panel alone since the paint on the vehicle is 100% original and in incredible shape and I wanted to keep the car as original as possible. I believe the rest of the car outshines the damage by far. This car is completely rust free. The dealer installed undercoating looks like it was applied last week. As if it doesn't get any better, this car is profiled in the recently published book by Richard Lentinello, Corvair Style. Richard was amazed by the car's honest originality and stunning color combination. Rarely do you come across a car this original and driveable. Don't buy a restoration project and invest twice what I'm asking for this. You will not be disappointed. I've been driving, buying and selling Corvairs for 35 years. This is among the best I've seen. I hate to sell but need to make room. Wanting this to go to a worthy caretaker. Make an offer. Ask questions. I can also arrange worldwide shipping at great rates. It's a no brainer! PLEASE! Check with the signifigant other and your bank account. Condition of your roof, ect. before placing an offer! Re-listing is aggrivating and expensive. Those with zero feedback must contact me before bidding or the offer will be declined.
