CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1969 Z28 originally Olympic Gold but was painted silver back in the 70’s and now has a patina look. Came from Mike Kaiser Camaro. 26,000 original miles car was on jack stands for 30 yrs ex drag racer in New Mexico. Factory Broadcast Sheet documenting it is a real Z28 and certification from Jerry MacNeish and Mike Kaiser. Cleanest body I’ve ever seen no rust ever or bodywork. Truck splatter paint all original and you can see a lot of the gold over spray from the factory underneath. Cleanest unrestored undercarriage I’ve seen. Original interior outside of new seat covers and carpet. Originally a flat hood open element car (I have the original flat hood that comes with). New exhaust and fuel system. Car is tight like a 26,000 mile car should be. This car has never had rust or sheet metal replaced. There is hardly even any surface rust on the front stub and undercarriage that is all original (see photos). Car runs and drives great, get in it and go anywhere. It also has an original endura bumper in great condition (see photo) awesome body lines and gaps. Currently has a hard running SBC that looks all correct for a Z28 but has been decked so there is no suffix and I cannot prove it’s a DZ. has correct NM 69' Muncie 4-speed, Rear End is the original 3:73 12 bolt. Everything under the hood is correct Z28 except for the exhaust manifolds, heads and the distributor. Intake, carburetor, fan, pulleys….are all correct. It does have old school white ceramic racing headers and a racing heavy duty bellhousing. I do have an original Z28#408 aluminum bellhousing that goes with the car. I have a March 1969 DZ dated long block (with correct 186 heads) that I pulled out of a different running 69 Z28 this past weekend that can be bought by the winning bidder of this car for an additional $3000 which would make this car 100% correct. A 69' DZ block alone is worth that (see photos). I can create and ship this engine within the US for around $300-$400.Contact me for videos of the car running, inside of the clean original trunk and undercarriage. Would consider 66-77 Bronco or 69-72 K5 Blazer on Trade. I can help with shipping at buyers expense. $500 NON_REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT due at Auction End. Full payment must be received within 7 days of auction closing otherwise deposit will be kept. Please contact me with any questions or any more information.
