1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500E ProjectThis beautiful project of a 1967 Ford Mustang GT500E tribute has been meticulously built over several years. You can find good examples of Eleanor out there but very few with this level of detail, workmanship and high end components. Every opportunity was taken to make this the best Eleanor example all the while respecting the heritage and timeless beauty that make these cars so desirable. All old parts were tossed aside making room for the bigger better components of today making this vehicle 90 percent new. The body was acid dipped and rotisserie restored adding new sheet metal at every turn to include new: doors, fenders, quarter, floor and of course all the parts that come with the Eleanor kit. I live in California and had the car shipped to Missouri to have all this beautiful body work and paint done by a highly respected Mustang shop that is a perennial exhibitor at SEMA. I started with two cars and have completed and sold the painted car shown in the pictures. Unfortunately, I don’t have the energy to finish the second primer car. I have all the receipts from the previous finished car including part numbers for those that need help finishing the project. I also have all the bodywork receipts to document this build for your own portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to do a high end build! This auction is for the unfinished vehicle as it stands. It includes a rolling chassis with all extra parts which will be listed here. EBAY limits the amount of pictures so please reach out to me if you’re a serious buyer and would like more detail on some facet of the build. I will attempt to highlight the features of the car, however, I will likely fail to include all work and components so reach out with any questions. The latest and most up to date picture is the one with the two cars side by side. This primer car is a wet sand away from being ready for paint. It’s on jack stands with all its suspension components installed making it a roller. I have random tires I use to move the car around that will be included in sale. Currently the car sits in my garage in Redlands California. Parts not installed but included: Front grill, all PIAA lights, scoop vent mesh, exhaust system which has been mocked up, rear tail lights, gas cap and metal pipe kit to mate with gas tank, hydraulic power booster, clutch/brake assembly, all new glass, window trim, ash tray, glove box & door lock mechanism. All other parts can be purchased over the counter giving you the ability to finish to your preference. SuspensionRRS stage 3 coil overs in all four corners, Adjustable coil overs front and adjustable 3 link in the back with slotted disc brakes, RRS power rack and pinion, Sub frame connectors, suspension has complete adjustability thru quick dial adjusting shock for desired performance on street, strip, circuit or cruising, ride height can also be adjusted up to 3 inches, 3 link in rear removes factory leaf springs and allows for accurate turn in and firm flat corner all meshed to a NEW Ford 9 inch. It’s hard to get a detailed picture of rear suspension without a lift so I included a picture of the finished car which ran the exact same RRS suspension setup. This RRS system made the finished car drive better than a modern vehicle in many respects and the ride height adjustability allows you the flexibility in performance and stance. I will help with shipping anywhere in the world but shipping cost is responsibility of the buyer. The car is sold as is-where is with no refunds or exchanges. The deposit is NON-refundable. I encourage anyone to come and inspect the car before you buy it. It is up to the buyer. You are not buying the car here for a chance to come and look. A deposit is not to hold the car for you while you make up your mind. The deposit is sent with intent to buy and a good faith payment showing you are seriously going to buy the car.Payment must be made via Bank Wire (preferred), in person with cash, cashier’s check can be sent but must clear the bank first. Full payment has to be made within 5 days of the auction end unless buyer and seller make other arrangements.
