1966 Ford Fairlane . Condition is Used. Hello, after 6 years of tinkering and wrenching, it is time to part ways with my Fairlane. The following is a list of parts replaced, starting at the front of the car, all four headlights, the rubber trim around the chrome trim,new radiator,upper and lower hoses,stainless trans lines, new upper and lower ball joints, new polyurethane strut bushings, new 1" away bar,new shocks, new coil springs to lower the front of the car, new Willwood front disc brake conversion kit with Willwood dual chamber master cylinder,freshened up top end of the 289, including an Edelbrock E-Street kit, cam, lifters, aluminum heads, aluminum intake. New water pump, new double roller timing chain and gears, HEI ignition, ceramic coated long tube headers, with stainless exhaust. New torque boxes, new floor pans front and rear,rebuilt rear,complete with a Youkon locker with 3.90 gears,new rear shocks,new spring bushings,new rear torque boxes. The interior is in good shape, no tips or tears on the seats or carpet, one crack in the dash. The power top is in good condition. The body is un touched and needs to be done...as mentioned, I haven't touched it...it does not have open holes and looks pretty straight. |
