CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This auction offers my 1970 Chevrolet K20 4x4 survivor. I purchased it from the original owner out of Edgewood, New Mexico and had the truck shipped to Virginia. It is a rust-free southern truck with survivor paint. It had a matching camper shell on it since new and it is easily removable. Motor is original and everything in the truck works, including the oem AM/FM radio. Still has the original chalk marks under the hood. I even have the original owner’s manual, protect-o-plate, and invoice for the truck. It came equipped with the bed-mounted spare and I have that as well. This is the heavy-duty ¾ ton chassis with no rust issues, only some light patina as you would expect from a truck this age. It still sports its original dealer sticker from Albuquerque, NM above the tailgate handle. I originally purchased the truck in 2013 and kept it for two years, then sold it locally. In 2017, I wanted another 67-72 Chevrolet truck but couldn’t find anything that wasn’t all rust or all bondo. I contacted the buyer that I sold this truck to and bought it back. That was a few years ago and I’m now working to downsize my collection so I am finally willing to let this K20 4x4 go. According to Hagerty Collector Insurance, here is what to look for in a 67-72 Chevrolet truck, “Condition, condition, condition. Finding a clean truck is key when building or restoring. A clean southern original paint, with the right patina, is worth every dollar because here you know what you are getting without the risk of hidden surprises behind freshly-painted, auction-ready sheet metal.” She runs well and has been my daily driver on nice days so she is ready to go. Plenty of power and she sounds great. She is a survivor with nice patina which means expect some signs of use but also expect a well sorted crowd-gathering original southern K20 4x4! I am serious about selling the truck, so don’t be afraid to make a fair offer. According to NADA Classic Car values, this truck has an average retail price of $22,260. Obviously I am much more reasonable in my pricing. I’m happy to allow serious parties to come see the truck in person, and I’m happy to work with your shipper. Non-refundable deposit of $500 due within 24 hours, remainder due within 7 days. Thanks for looking . . . good luck!
