| Classic 1974 Volkswagen Bug , selling for elderly friend who drove it regularly 2 to 3 times a week back and forth to the local store till about a week ago , but has to quit driving due to age related issues . He has had it for a couple years . Don't any thing about it's history prior to that . Has clear unattached title . Strong good running 1600 and smooth shifting 4 Speed trans . New tires and good spare tire / brakes / emergency brake / shocks / lights / speedometer / turn signals / gas gauge / wipers / windshield washers / door locks and lighted voltage gauge . Every thing works but the odometer so after 46 years .. no way of knowing how many miles she has on her . Has bright halogen headlights so a lot brighter than the old 6v bugs . Starts right up and steers well and straight . Has pretty nice interior .. nice seats and door panels . Floorboards feel very solid . Drives good for a 46 year old unrestored survivor . But she is a 46 year old unrestored car so paint is ruff and has some dings and rust bubbles popping up in quite few places , some rattled can touch ups but over all looks fairly good and is pretty straight for it's age . Has a headliner patch above rear window on passenger side and has a ragged spot on the driver side lower corner of rear window , but the rest of the headliner from rear window forward is nice condition . A crack in the passenger side of the windshield that does not effect drivers vision and some cracks in the plastic dash pad . Has a new glove box door latch / lock with keys . The only quirks I know of , driving it from his house to the storage lot of the RV park storage lot where I live are the old cardboard glove box is missing , ignition/door key has to be inserted the right direction to work . Key will go in either way but only work when inserted right direction . The speedometer works but the odometer doesn't and the headlight switch will sometimes after pushing in to shut off lights will pop back out so till you get use to it's feel double check make sure lights are off . A 46 year old classic you can drive while you restore or just drive it like it is with "super cheap insurance" . Needless to say being 46 years old there is no implied or other warranty . Required from "anyone buying" $500 deposit is due within 24 hours via Pay Pal . Payment in full via Certified Bank Check within 7 days .
