Here is a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer I've decided to let go. This is a complete running driving example that could be used everyday the way it is or restored back to it's former glory. This particular Blazer is still running it's original 350 4bbl engine, th350 Automatic transmission, Np205 transfercase, Dana 44 front axle and 12 bolt positraction rear axle. It was equipped with power steering and power front disk brakes as well. It runs and drives the way it is. I've only ever taken it around the block a few times. It seems to run really well with no smoke or issues. The heater core is leaking and would need to be replaced if someone wanted to drive it daily. The engine is bone stock with the hard to find original parts intact. The body is very straight, it does have some rust in places, nothing horrible, just the average. The tailgate would need replacing as it has some rust in the bottom of it. Both rocker panels and in front of the rear wheels on the front of the quarter panels would need the typical patch panels to be nice again. It appears to have been repainted in it's original color of Dark Green at some point in it's life. Probably a long time ago. The grille shell is in very nice shape, all glass is good other than the windshield which has a crack. The top is the single wall model and is virtually damage free. I see no chunks broken off anywhere and no repairs have been previously done. The hatch isn't great but is there. All original seats are in place front and rear. The two fronts appear to have been redone at some point in their life. This Blazer didn't come with a console as their are no holes in the original floor mat where it would have mounted. The original radio is in place and the dash has never been cut. Also no speaker holes or aftermarket mirror holes in the doors. The original Black seatbelts are all in place. Both front tires and the warn hubs are brand new. There are a lot of old receipts and manuals in the glovebox including original stuff to the truck. Everything underneath is all there, the 4 wheel drive system is complete, again, it doesn't appear to be missing anything. The passenger side exterior door handle needs replaced. If someone reminds me, i'll take care of that. This would be an excellent Blazer for someone to build, I have way to many of them and decided to let a few go. These old bone stock examples that haven't been modified and patched and pieced back together 10 different times are getting tough to find. I have a clear title for it, all vin numbers are in place, it shows 96,000 miles. no clue if that original or if it's turned over. The truck hasn't been licensed since 2003. Feel free to ask any questions. I'm happy to take more pictures, videos, or whatever you need. I can recommend a good shipper if you need one. Sold as is where is, no warranties on this one. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. Thanks |
