Professional frame off restoration completed in 2018. This C-10 was originally a long bed. It was converted to a short bed with the Brothers Trucks conversion. Please see their web site for a description. The short bed is all new equipment. The original 350 engine has been rebuilt, bored .030 and a very mild cam added. The original heads have been rebuilt with new valves, seats and pushrods. An Edelbrock Performer intake manifold and carburetor were added, along with valve covers and air cleaner to match. Power steering and factory front disc brakes. The body was stripped to bare metal with all rust (very little was found) removed. Paint is Spies Hecker base coat/clear coat with original 1972 Chevy red and white paint codes applied. The truck was originally green and white, but I was building the truck of my dreams. Vintage Air was installed and works exceptionally. Radio is Custom Auto Sound AM/FM with blue tooth. A Rockford Fosgate powered subwoofer has been added, and speakers are mounted in the headliner. The mileage (currently just under 6,000) has all been driven while pleasure cruising in perfect weather conditions, mostly on country roads. I drive the truck frequently as it is very much like driving a new 1972 C-10.Selling because we are downsizing and I will have no place to keep the truck in a climate-controlled environment. |
