| This impala is a 4DR HTDT, 1961. It has a big block 348 engine, that runs very well, for setting for 45 years, an automatic, turbo glide transmission. It has power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, power seat, dual exhaust, dual antennas. There are rust spots, on both quarter panels, right where the exhaust comes out, about 6 inches long. The floor pans are excellent. The trunk, lower pan would need some attention, as the battery was left upside down in the trunk. A new trunk floor pan costs about $79.00. This would make a very fine restoration project. It has no broken glass. The interior would need to be replaced, but for the age of the vehicle, it is pretty good. All of the stainless is intact. I have another 1961 Impala, that would go with for a parts car. Although it is a complete vehicle also. It has a 283 power pact, with a 4 barrel carb and an automatic transmission also. Only thing missing on this one is the distributor. It is full of oil. The front fenders on the black one, I have started to cut off ,as I was going to put the front clip off of the blue one onto the black one, as the blue fenders are not rusted out. Both of these vehicles will be sold as a pair. I have titles for both vehicles. Buyer will pay shipping charges. | |
