| This 1968 VW Beetle convertible has been in the family for years. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2016 by Drew's Off Road Performance in Hamilton, Ohio at a cost of nearly $4,000.00. We have full documentation. Most of the engine compartment accessories were replaced at that time. The engine was re-bored to 1776 displacement for more pep. Zips Auto repair replaced most of the steering and linkage components in 2010, along with a full brake system replacement. The clutch is brand new and also the fuel tank. Zips is local here in Hamilton, and I have full receipts for all the work. The convertible top is operable, but definitely needs replacement. The liner droops down. It also needs a new front headlight. Since 2010, we've only driven @1,700 miles, so we've decided to sell it to someone interested in driving it again. It's a lot of fun to drive and it still turns heads. | |
