This 1956 Ford Thunderbird is a real nice driver, not a show car. Starts right up every time with no smoke, drives straight without pulling to one side or the other. Brakes stop the car straight, autotrans shifts well, but does leaks a little. Car has a number of upgrades: front power disk brakes with dual reservoir master cylinder. All new brake lines, new rear wheel cylinders with new brake linings, 12 volt alternator, AC that blows cold air, upgraded high capacity aluminum radiator with electric fan that comes on with the AC, electric wiper motor, manual heater conversion with working blower motor. The color is Fiesta Red.All gauges work with the exception of the clock. Newer working radio, electric fuel pump. Has both hard and like new soft top, All lights work.Engine is a V8 312 with a 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor and like new exhaust system. There is a history of some rust repair that happened years ago during restoration before I bought the car. Upholstery looks almost new. Paint is average with some defects, but generally looks good. Old front brake drums and other miscellaneous items will be included. Car is being sold As Is. |
