1962 Chevy Impala Super Sport, rare 409 big block chevy with dual 4 barrel carbs (409 Horsepower Version)and a 4 speed transmission. This was the car to have in 62' and is still a very desirable car today. This car was built from the St. Louis, MO plant and spent the majority of its life in that area. Within the last 13 years its primarily been in Nevada and California. The odometer only has 49,359 miles on her which I believe to be accurate because the car hasnt been driven since the late 70's. This car does have some rust issues mainly the floorboards. The transmission tunnel area is great but the pan area front and rear needs to be replaced. There are some areas of rust behind the rear quarter panels however the trunk, roof and window areas are still solid. This car was originally Ermine White from the factory with a red interior. The interior is mostly complete however I do not have the center console. The trans shifts into gear and the clutch engages, the brakes do not work and the pedal goes to the floor. Also the engine does not turn over, this car has not been run since the late 70's so most likely it will need to be rebuilt. Car does roll and the tires hold air. I do have a clean California title for this car, I am hoping this car will end up in the hands of someone who has the financial means and motivation to be able to get her back on the road once again. This is a true survivor car and these don't come around very often. This car is sold "as is" with no warranties, buyer to arrange shipping. If you have any questions please call (951) 452 8563.
