| 1971 Classic Austin Mini 1000 (RHD) with upgraded 1275cc engine from 1989 Metro. White with black roof & hood stripes. Single HIF44 carb with K&N pancake filter.New 59D dizzy with electronic points & sports coil. Torquemaster inlet manifold & Maniflow LCB exhaust.Purchased from previous owner in 2011 with replacement speedometer so actual mileage is unknown. Many new parts since purchase including: Spare parts from previous owner include:Front sub frame / transmission / cylinder head / trunk lid / front &rear windows / HS4 carb / car cover plus many other small miscellaneous parts.Engine runs well, shifts into all gears smoothly (4 speed). Has no problem keeping up with modern traffic around town, engine does top out around 70mph.Bodywork is in good condition, paint is presentable. Some paint bubbling around front & rear windows, a few small dings & dents here & there. Rust is present on both front floor pans (see pics), was treated when purchased.Car is a blast to drive, turns lots of heads. Garage kept & stored during winter. Really enjoyed driving & working on this mini the last 10 years but driven it very little (3 or 4 times) the last year due to work/family commitments.
