1968 Chevrolet C-10 Custom-Built Hot Rod Pickup Truck. LS-5 454 Big block (originally from a 1971 Chevelle) First of all you won’t find another Chevy truck like this. 700 R4 automatic tranny with a shift kit. Dana 60 one-ton rear end. It has been in my family since day one over 50 years ago. 1968 Cab and nose with a later model early 80s step-side long bed on a C20 (custom camper) 1-ton chassis. Built from the bottom up. Restoration was completed 25 years ago and the truck has not seen any rain or winter conditions since then. Stored inside. Sees about 200 miles per year in the summer and fall months. No rust on frame or body. Solid! Black Sapphire Metallic paint. Corvette color. Show quality. The truck could be driven daily. Cruises at 2000 rpm with the overdrive tranny at 60 mph. Hooker chrome headers, fully stainless Borla 2.25" dual exhaust. Holley 750 carb. MSD ignition, tires and brakes good. Original cast iron Corvette intake (highly sought after) Custom made tonneau cover to match. Motor was balanced and blueprinted from bottom to top when it was professionally rebuilt. Bored .030 over. Performance comp cam but not overkill. Couldn’t start, run, or drive any better. It's been babied. Too much to talk about here. It’s always been a head turner. Serious inquiries and bidders only. This truck has been in my life my whole life-time and I’m not interested in low balls or non-serious inquiries. Just no time to use anymore and unfortunately time to part.
