Original big bock "S" code 390-4v cid was one of the last Mustangs manufactured in San Jose, California on November 25, 1966 while Carol Shelby was still in charge of the GT program in Venice, California. It was sold new at Cort Fox Ford in Hollywood, California on December 1, 1966 (sale includes original Fox Court license plate frames).This 1967 GT500 Shelby tribute stays true to the one and only 1967 Shelby GT500 convertible ever built (photo included). That one was sold at Mecum several years ago for $825,000. This car has the factory HD C6 automatic transmission,correct Ford 9" 3.25 rear differential,mirror finish Raven Black paint w/white stripes (the car was originally aqua blue), black bucket seat interior w/custom console, black power convertible top w/glass rear window & matching boot, power steering, power disc brakes, modern air conditioning, Shelby package w/side scoops, light weight hood, rear extensions & spoiler, sequential tail lights, Shelby wood steering wheel and shifter with cobra insignia. Shelby alloy wheels w/fresh BFG 235 radial T/A's, Rockford Fosgate stereo amplifiers and speakers (no holes cut for any speakers) and RideTech front and rear suspension. Edelbrock intake and Holley carb. Not-so-accurate clock, replaced with very accurate tachometer in dash. Documented with a deluxe Marti Report. Show or drive this classic big block convertible.
