| 1969 Corvette 427 4 speed Convertible Looks and sounds Awesome..Runs Great!!This car was first purchased new by a doctor who kept it for 30 years. He drove it regularly for about ten years and then stored it in his garage for another 20. The second owner had it for about 17 years and I bought it off of him.The Vette was stripped to bare fiberglass and repainted its Original color of Fathom green about 14yrs/4k miles ago.Bumpers were re-chromed and a new top was installed along with new upholstery.It was originally equipped with the 427/390 hp engine.The block was replaced back in the the early 70s with a Corvette blockBlock Casting # Suffix code TO325IQHeads and intake are from the original engineHeads #Intake #The Carburetor was rebuilt a few years ago and works perfectly.The 4sp close-ratio M21 transmission is original and still shifts flawlessly.Frame is completely solid and the undercarriage is in very good condition.Power brakesCould use some new tires..I prefer white letter but it originally came with redline tires.New owner can make that call(price reflects that) Original radio is there but isn't hooked up(I use Bluetooth so I don't care)Leaks a little bit of oil.....I've never owned one that didn't This is a beautiful driver quality car with a ton of curb appeal that is only going up in value.Cash OnlyPickup OnlyNo Lowballers!!IMPORTANT...The car is being stored in a garage in Havertown Pa. but I currently live in Florida so Please do not waste my time unless you have the cash and are serious about buying the car because it will take some planning to get a deal done.I guessed on the mileage but should be pretty close | |
