Car was born 1967 Six Cylinder manual everything. I have had it converted to a V8. Short list: Period 302 now 347 with hardened internals; Mild Cam. All peripherals changed; power steering added; power brakes, 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes; 5 lug conversion with GT front end and 1968 Mustang Rear end. 3.80 posi gears added; American Racing 5 Spoke classic wheels and tires; Rear springs are Shelby. Fast EZ EFI system; MagnaFlow SS exhaust. When I bought the car 2019: 2011 restoration items: I have 6 pages of receipts. All cosmetic, bulbs, rust repair, carpet, all mechanicals, new paint, new top, bumpers, chrome work, etc. Full disclosure: I bought the car for 16,300. I had 12,000 dollars worth of closing rust removal. Car is clean. 50,000 dollars to convert the car correctly to V8. It's like a Harley Davidson, you never get all your money back. I'm 59 and am setting up for retirement. There are 200 miles on the car since all my work was done. I don't have a garage and can't stand to see it exposed to the elements.
