Devoid of excess chrome and logos, and with the bumpers color-matched to the body, today the car presents a near-sinister monochromatic appearance. This continues under the hood with mild accents on the high performance small-block 383 CI stroker V-8 engine, which uses a large K&N air filter, black Chevrolet valve covers, an Edelbrock intake with 4-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition components and headers coupled to a dual-exhaust system. Behind the engine went a hefty Turbo 400 automatic transmission, with the driveline concluding in a stout Ford 9-inch differential with highway-friendly 3.08:1 gears.
