CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
This F100 is in good shape. It was sold new in South Carolina and then moved to North Carolina. It spent most of its like in North Carolina. It had a repaint in recent years. The paint job is not that good, it is decent maybe a 15 footer. Underside of truck is great. There is no rust or rot. The floor on the drivers side had a small patch at some point. All cab mounting brackets are good. There was a rebuilt power steering gear box and housing put on in recent years. It still has the tag on it. It handles okay going down the road with some play to the steering. I describe it as loose comparing it to today's rack and pinion. Back then we didn't know the difference. Engine is a 302 V8 with a four barrel carburetor. The automatic transmission shifts and works great making the truck get right down the road. The dual exhaust sounds good with a low toned rumble. Power steering works great but does have a small drip, nothing noticeable but just annoying. This truck has AC and it works great. Heater works and so do the lights, wipers, turn signals, brake lights. All gauges work. Speedometer works and is accurate but does bounce some up 30 mph. After that it works great. The radio does not work. Most guys are going to put in an upgraded sound system anyway. All of the glass is good, both door windows roll up and down smoothly and doors open and close smoothly without sagging or banging. The fuel tank which is behind the seat looks good without leaks or stains. New moulded pile loop carpet covers the floor. There is a small rust spot in the bed up next to the front panel on the right side. This is in the 22nd photo and to the left side towards the top of the photo. Under the hood is in good shape but needs detailed. It is still mostly original showing 50 years of wear but still presentable. No rust or rot on the inner panels or around the hinge area. This truck spent its whole life in the Carolina's til it came to Ohio in the fall of 2019. There is no warranty, you are buying as is. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is needed at the end of the auction and balance upon pickup of truck. A bank wire will work or a certified check can be used but vehicle will be held til the check clears.
