I believe this may be a very special Toronado from a condition point of view. I don't have a lot of history on the car other than it did come from mid west USA aprox 15 years ago. Has a dealer sign attached to the trunk lid, it reads : FULLER / Beloit ( Wisconsin ? ) I came across it locally, the seller had it 10 years. The exterior body has no rust and is lazer straight. The paint is old and shows well even with many tiny chips touched up, the colour and gloss is very nice, the paint could easily be taken to a high quality level with the right individual. The bumpers are perfect ( likely done at some point ) as well as all exterior trim, only the tail light bezels have a little pitting. The windshield is LOF, the glass is perfect. The underbody is beyond amazing as you can see in the photos. The best I can figure out is this car had a very high quality nut and bolt 30 or 40 years ago and has been pampered since. The interior is original and I have no flaws to report, everything works as it should, A/C and even the clock, I was told it was converted to quartz. It does not have tilt steering, the AM radio works perfect, the speaker was changed with an original style. Has perfect working power seat. The engine bay looks as it should, very clean / correct, the air cleaner looks as though it was never repainted. The engine and all else are numbers matching, the choke works perfectly, runs quiet and strong, runs cool in any weather, I thought the temp gage didn't work, it does but never goes past first quarter mark, the car drives perfect and I just put 66 Toro spec Diamond back, Auburn tires on the car.I am a Buick guy in Ottawa, someone told me about this car and I wanted to see it, I was blown away by its condition and had to have it as a result of always having great respect for the importance of a 66 Toronado. My herd is too large and I am thinning it out, this car needs to be in the hands of the right Olds person. I have described it 100% accurately and no one would be disappointed in this car, quite the opposite.
