Meet Max Jr. - a very clean survivor which I have owned for 4 years. I own a matching 1971 Grand Prix as well, and am making room for a new toy. This car came to me from the Knoxville, TN area in 2017. I put new tires on him that year. In 2018 I had his snowflakes refinished, all new belts and hoses, radiator, transmission and rear-end were serviced and he took a 2 week long road trip along the Texas Gulf-Coast up to Pensacola, then Nashville, Memphis, Hot Springs Arkansas and back home to Central Texas. On the way to Nashville he burned through is tailpipe so I had a new muffler and tail pipe installed while on vacation. While driving through Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Butcher Hollow his speedometer stopped working, so he has about 1,000 more miles than shown on his odometer. The speedometer cable has been replaced and it's working now. He asked for a new battery this year. This car is very clean. The original AM / 8-track radio comes with the car, but I've installed a classic looking AM/FM Bluetooth with Hands Free Phone in the car. Cold Air Conditioning. The car starts right up and runs / drives / shifts like it did new. The interior is very clean with no rips, tears, stains, or fading. The dash has no cracks and has not been cut. It's a very clean survivor and well equipped, beautiful car. Zero, and I mean ZERO rust. I would not hesitate to drive it across country, again. |
