CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
You are bidding on a 1971 Chevrolet Nova survivor car with only 37,089 three owner miles. It was ordered pretty much a bare bones car with the only option being a limited slip differential. It started life with a six cylinder engine and a Powerglide transmission. It was ordered in a rare color combination of factory tuxedo black with a factory blue interior. As you can see from the pictures it has no carpet (just a blue rubber floor covering), no radio, not even a cigarette lighter. The six cylinder engine, Powerglide transmission and 10 bolt differential have been removed and replaced with the following: · 454 BBC built by Minor’s Performance in Lordstown Ohio. It dynoed at 520 horse power and includes a Crane solid lifter camshaft, oval port cylinder heads, Hooker headers with 3” exhaust and Super 40 Flowmaster mufflers, MSD 6AL ignition, Holley 850 cfm carburetor and Holley mechanical fuel pump. · Rossler Transmissions built Turbo 400 three speed automatic transmission, an 8” torque converter and custom driveshaft. · The rear differential is a narrowed 12 bolt GM with a Moser spool & Moser axles, a 4:10 ring & pinion, differential support cover and Lakewood J-bolt traction bars. · American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, 15x4.5 wheels with 205-75/R15 tires on the front and 15x7 wheels with 265-70/R15 tires on the rear. · Other new parts include: Frame connectors, urethane transmission mount, Shiftworks transmission linkage, aluminum radiator, flex fan blade and fan shroud, engine brackets and motor mounts, Moroso front coil springs, carburetor heat shield, 3 gauge under dash cluster, tachometer. This car was built for the street with all quality parts and has never been raced. The paint is not perfect as any 49 year old lacquer paint job would be. There is some checking as well as various places that have been brushed touched up. There is also a small dent on the right ¼ panel behind the wheel opening that is shown in the pictures. There is no warranty, written or implied. Payment via bank wire transfer (preferred) or certified bank check or cash. If paid by check the car doesn’t leave until payment clears the bank. A $1,000.00 deposit is required by PayPal at auctions close. If you have any questions please contact the owner, his name is Jack and his number is 330-501-6757. There are 80 more pictures available to view, if interested please contact Jack. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding !
