The transmission is a C4 automatic with an external cooler, while the rear end is a Ford 8.8”. This hot rod also has 4-wheel disc brakes and adjustable coilovers. I like how the exposed independent front suspension with its inboard springs adds to the car’s aesthetics, and lets people know this car is something different. The red and black interior expands on the clean look with a minimum of dials, switches, or gadgets. The dash has just a center digital gauge cluster, while the switches for the headlights, fan, and power windows are all mounted down low. The bucket seats are adjustable and are both equipped with 4-point harnesses. There is a tilt steering column for good ingress/egress along with a center console for storage. There are also self-cancelling turn signals and a horn. The finished trunk houses the battery along with the fuel filler and a fire extinguisher.
