CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air hard top--Extreme perfect fabrication is Don's trademark!!!Built by: Meticulous construction by retired Aerospace welding supervisor until retirement, 100% of this concourse level retro-rod is now for sale by his surviving wife!PURE retro-rod: Bone stock outside appearance (almost), inside and out, accept for the mag-wheels and discreet stance. However, as you can see all underpinnings, suspension, breaks and engine--all modern OEM equipment and/or brand new. The high note is a sweet bit of 350 c.i. Chevy under the hood, backed by a traditional 350 turbo transmission!Paint: Bullet proof black PPG primer and highly polished single stage PPG paint.Interior: Bone stock appearance, typical black, gray and white for 1957 right down to the original steering wheel and bench seats. I feel like I've dropped back in time to 1957 when I'm inside this car--do you remember the era...it was ground breaking appearances in 1955, 1956 and 1957...but this is no stock Chevy--better than new!Maintenance: This car has been garaged in Torrance California since it was fabricated. It has seriously low milage at 2700 miles on it. This is a totally like new condition--better than, much better than when it rolled off the factory floor in the fall of 1956. ONLY driven to local car shows!Added details: We also have a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop (it's new little brother) that had not been completed by the aerospace welding supervisor. At Don's death the '56 was purchased and completed by Eric Hoagland Sr. and Eric Hoagland Jr. of Hoagie's Hot Rods of Vista, California. See eBay add for the sale of this additional Zero miles June 2020 finished hot rod.In review: When the original owner died--the '57 was complete and the '56 was a roller--with all the parts for completion spread out all over a 3-bedroom house.Friend helping in sale: Don Burdge, a friend of the family. Contact me through eBay for any questions.Transportation: Buyer responsible for arranging and paying for any needed transport costs.Sale: Prefer bank to bank final payment. On Jul-14-20 at 18:13:04 PDT, seller added the following information:Answers about car's history:We have hundreds of receipts. His surviving wife and daughter appreciate your interest and will do the best they can to research any questions asked. This is a pristine car. You could "eat off the undercarriage" and engine compartment literally!
