CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu LS swap. 4.8 liter with 4l60e transmission. Factory AC and power steering car. Originally Grecian Green with black interior and black top and a 327. Very solid 52 year old car ! Floor pans original other than trunk floor was replaced. Engine runs great. However not drive able as needs driveshaft installed, fans,and exhaust work, brakes etc. Engine and transmission are out of a 2001 GMC Sierra with 138k and ran and shifted excellent. Has new water pump, plugs,gaskets etc.Has disc brakes in front. Comes with alot of trim, a bench seat, bucket seats from a 69, and a trunk full of parts. This is a very overall solid car that needs to be finished.All around windows very solid no rot. Rear package tray not all cut up for speakers like most are. Door jamb areas on quarters solid with original green showing. As can see in photos it still has factory pins for clips for vinyl top trim on quarters. Car had a terrible Earl Shieb red paint job over factory green that was peeling off and never prepped properly. I sanded down to the original paint or metal which ever was the better surface. Then primed it and applied 2k urethane primer to seal it. I have included some before pics to show factory paint. I can send additional pics upon request. This car needs to be finished but I unfortunately don't have the time and am moving, so it's up for sale. The engine is all wired up and has a 95 Buick Roadmaster fuel tank installed using custom fabricated straps to retain stock replacement trunk floor. This car has not been butchered up so if you are wanting to go back stock that's an option that won't take much to do. I also have the outer door handles 327 badges and door mirror. It comes with alot of extra parts. Car has a clean title and is sold as is no warranty stated ,written or implied. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit from winning bidder through PayPal within 24 hours after auction end. With the balance paid in full within 5 days . Preferably in cash. Car will not be released until all funds have cleared if paying by check. Shipping and all costs involved are buyers responsibility.
