| 1970 MGB Roadster. I’ve owned this about 7 years and enjoyed most every mile. Around 70,000 miles. The odometer currently doesn’t work, no way of knowing the exact mileage. Engine runs great, drives and shifts like it should. Stops straight. In the past two years I’ve replaced:Front brakes (EBC green stuff)Radiator, aluminum thick coreHosesHeater control valveAll 4 tiresFuel pumpDistributorFuse blockHeadlight switch (oe)Lights and horn are set up with relays (full power to them)Most of the body seals and gaskets (there are a lot of them) including the windshield frame seal. It has a full top that’s not in the best condition (who needs it Anyway?)It has a fairly rare full split tonneau cover. It also has the small tonneau cover. The 1970 car is the only year with a split rear bumper. Has chrome wire wheels with knock offs. The paint is good but not show quality. There is no rust on the body, floor pans, battery box, trunk floor, jack points. Exhaust is solid and quiet. A previous owner replaced the dual carburetors with a Weber, I don’t have the originals. This isn’t a show car but a nice driver that you can enjoy.Clear Florida title (with vintage 1970 Florida license plate) in my name. | |
