You are bidding on a 1977 MGB that I purchased about 2 months ago from the original owner, a woman. No one but she ever drove the car. She stopped driving it about 8 years ago and it has been parked in her carport ever since then. It has always resided in South Georgia. The car is not in running condition now and I have not tried to turn the engine over by hand, but I'm sure that after sitting for 8 years, it will probably not turn over by hand. The engine is original to the car and has never been messed with. It still has all the smog stuff on it that it came from the factory with, in case the new owner wants to do an authentic restoration back to how it left the factory. The car has never been in an accident and I can find no dings or dents anywhere on it. It has had one cheap repaint in the same light yellow as the original, and as you can see in the pictures, it is flaking off. This is one of the most rust-free unrestored MGs I've ever seen. The only rust holes I could find are shown on the pictures, including a small area on the right and left inside edge of the hood, a little bit in the same area on the trunk lid, and a little at the bottom of the doors. The rest of the car is completely rust-free, including no rust anywhere in the floors, fender wells, rockers, trunk floor, or anywhere else.NOTE: The car does NOT have a Title. It is being sold on a Bill of Sale only. Georgia is a non-Title state for cars older than 1983. (Disregard the eBay box saying Title is clear. Ebay does not give an option for Bills of Sale only.) |
