You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions. Up for sale is an amazing two-owner 1969 Ford F-250 Custom Cab Camper Special pickup truck. The miles are ORIGINAL at 71,557! It is in exceptional survivor original condition, original paint (minor touch-ups), no rust issues. The truck drives well, and tracks straight down the road. This is very straight truck having no overt presentation of rust. I have been all over the truck, including the underside. it has no rust-through issues anywhere. There is only minor surface rust showing where the paint has been chipped. The rockers, frame, cab mounts, corners, etc. are exceptional. The factory rear bumper is in great condition, the Custom Cab polished front grill and chrome front bumper very nice, Custom Cab trim also very nice. Just a great-looking truck that’s hard to beat for the money.... you’d have to spend thirty grand to get a truck substantially nicer IMHO. The original paint has just been buffed and polished, and shines nicely, as you can see. Parts of the hood and cab have been touched up, otherwise original paint, including in the doorjambs, under the hood, and the bed. The bed is also rust-free and left in as-found condition so you can see how nice it is. No rust-through in the hood, either. The interior features the original gauge cluster, new upholstered headliner and matching sun visors, new seat upholstery, and original floor mat. An extremely nice-looking interior; as you can see. The steering wheel is original, and is one of the nicer survivor wheels I have seen. Everything seems to be in working order, including the heater, fan, lights, turn signals, cabin light, and wipers, and the original radio is still present! The door weatherstrip is original and still supple. The doors open and close well. The windows roll up and down as smoothly. The wheels are original factory Ford steel wheels still wearing restored original hub caps; a timeless classic look. The in-cab fuel tank has been cleaned and serviced, and the big dealer-installed Camper Special side fuel tanks are still present as well. I should note that I have NOT run the truck on the side tanks; it is being run on the in-cab main tank. Condition of the saddle tanks is unknown, although they appear to be sound. Mechanically, the truck is in great running and driving condition. The fuel pump has been replaced, the carburetor just rebuilt, new tune-up parts, a fresh tune, new brake master cylinder, and more. The truck starts easily and runs very well. The tires are in sound condition, but are old... you will want to install new tires before making this your classic daily driver. The hardware for the in-bed factory spare tire is also included. While not a flawless truck, this is an amazing, original surviving classic Ford that you can climb in and enjoy exactly as-is, and drive with pride. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 51-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop (Rose Lane Restorations) and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone. Clear title in hand. Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
