CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
For sale is a 1977 Oldsmobile 98 Regency. My father purchased the car new in 1977 and drove the car until he had a stroke. The car has always been garage kept, well maintained and all service records are included in sale. Dad was a retired Coast Guard engineer and had the oil changed every 3000 miles at the Olds dealership until they closed and then had the car serviced at a local shop. I kept the battery charged at my house and drove the car in his neighborhood 3 or 4 times a year until he recently passed. I put new tires on the car Dec 2019. The car starts, drives, handles and runs great. The A/C compressor engages on and off but doesn't blow cold, the original windshield has a couple of dings in it, and there are 2 areas on the drivers side that have dents (one on each door). The interior is in excellent condition. Dad only used the car to go to the grocery store once a week. The car has never been in an accident, has the original paint, there is NO RUST anywhere, and the car is mechanically sound. If you have any questions respond with your phone number and I will call you back. If you would like to make a reasonable offer please feel to do so but please no "low ball" offers. If you would like additional pictures or would like someone to inspect the car locally please let me know. Thank you. |
