CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
I have for sale my two 1966 Ford vehicles. The Buy It Now Price is for both of them. These vehicles are for sale locally and I welcome anyone that wants to inspect them. There is no warranty and are sold AS IS. The mileage will be a little more than shown as I do drive them occasionally. I've been driving the Mustang to my grandson's weekly T-ball games and I've been pulling a trailer with the pickup hauling my lawn tractor to our church every Wednesday to mow the grounds and cemetery.MUSTANG INFO: I bought the Mustang already restored from a couple in Kentucky on eBay in the fall of 2012 for my wife. She always wanted a red 1966 Mustang. I'm a widow now and the car needs to find a good home. Interior - I think the pics will show the interior well enough. The gauges work although the speedometer shows a faster speed than what you actually are going. When I bought it it came with a new radio and speakers. Exterior - The car looks nice, but the floor pans have been replaced by the previous owner during restoration so it has had rust. The engine area and trunk area show no signs of rust. Mechanical - Powered by a 289 cu. in. V-8 Ford engine it has lots of power for a car that weighs around 2500 lbs. Has an automatic shifter on the floor and the tranny will drip some fluid. I've changed the oil, replaced the battery, replaced the voltage regulator, fixed two parking lights and put in a master brake cylinder since I've owned it. Tires - 40 to 50% tread and the chrome rims are good. I do not have the original wheels or hubcaps and there is no spare tire. All glass is good.F250 PICKUP INFO: VIN is F25YL882516. 1966 3/4 ton pickup. Mileage - 114,344. Title - clean. V-8 352 cu. in. engine with a 4-speed shifter on the floor. I bought the F250 from an older gentleman in 2004. He had owned it since 1977. Before that it came from Iowa to Minot driven to Minot Air Force Base by a new recruit. This pickup has never been restored, it has the original paint and patina. Interior - The seat has a covering on it as the original seat has worn out spots. All gauges work and the pickup has two extra (white) back-up lights installed on the back of the cab that can light up the box. Exterior - The pickup box has no rust by the rear wheel wheels but both front fender / cab areas have rust spots. The rear bumper also shows rusting. Mechanical - The 352 cu. in., 5.8 Liter, engine was transferred out of a '64 Ford Galaxie to the pickup before I bought it. Based on the older gentleman's notes and my use since I purchased it the engine currently has 45,000 miles on it. I've changed the oil, replaced the battery, replaced the accelerator cable, replace a left, rear wheel bearing and put a carburator kit in it since I've owned it. It has been a very dependable truck. Tires - 10 to 20% tread and the F250 comes with a spare off the rim and a spare on a rim. There is also a tool box on the front of the pickup box. End gate works. Windshield has a crack, all other glass is good.I will store these vehicles for several weeks while buyer either picks them up or hires a transporter. The $750.00 deposit is non-refundable and due within 48 hours. The vehicles are located on several major highways. Hwy. 2 goes east and west and is a four lane. I'm located about 125 miles north of Interstate 94 that also goes east and west. I am also on Hwy. 83 which is a four lane that goes north and south. I really appreciate you looking, thanks. I may consider OBO depending on the interest shown these vehicles.
