Up for sale is our "Farm Find" 1972 Ford F-350 dually farm truck. Why are we calling it a "Farm Find" truck? Because the truck has spent it's entire life on a farm in Montana ( 1st owner)… then on a farm in Oregon (2nd owner). And due to it's low usage , it has only 47,000 original miles! You'd never know that this truck was used on a farm, by it's amazing appearance.... truly an OCD farmer owned truck. The truck has been under cover since new.... and believe it or not, still wears it's original paint! The paint color is what Ford calls " Swiss Aqua". The paint is in amazing condition for nearly 50 year old paint. The interior of the truck is in near mint condition. The seat is rip-free... the dash is totally uncracked ( except a slight separation along the perforated speaker opening). The paint on the interior is immaculate. Please see the numerous photos, for confirmation. The bed of the truck has the original Oak ( I believe it to be Oak wood), boards... which are mostly still solid, however near the back of the truck, about 4 of the boards are cracked, and have broken/missing/rotted sections. These can easily be repaired, and returned to near factory original condition, with some elbow grease. Another way to go, would be to cover the entire bed area with pressure treated plywood.... or even use aluminum diamond plate..... it's up to you! Since this truck was never driven on salted roads.... it's 99.9% rust-free. The only rust would be surface rust, on unpainted surfaces. Please see the numerous photos of the cab, especially the bottoms of the doors (normally a rust prone area)... which still wear the bright Swiss Aqua paint. The cab and grille are exceptionally straight… the only dings on the cab, are on the roof, which are not noticeable, unless you are standing in the bed to see them. It would be very difficult to find an original 1972 Ford F350 truck cab in better condition, anywhere in the country. The truck is a rear wheel drive, with the Ford 360 cubic inch engine. 4 speed manual transmission, with manual steering, and power boosted brakes. The engine runs very well, and the brakes stop the truck with authority, and the transmission shifts well. I regularly drive the truck 20 miles round trip to our local lake, and the truck is totally roadworthy.... however, since the truck wears it's original bias ply front tires, I'd highly recommend that they be changed to modern radial tires, if the truck will be driven regularly on the highway. All the gauges work in the instrument cluster..... speedometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, ALT gauge, and oil pressure gauge ALL work! The headlights, blinkers, and brake lights also are fully operational. Even the dome light still illuminates!Overall...… for an original, unrestored 1972 Ford F350, you'd be very hard pressed to find a better example. Please contact me via eBay messages if you have any questions about the truck..... or would like to see other photos or specific areas of the truck not shown in the posted photos. The titanium mountain bike shown in the photos is NOT included with the sale of the truck ( but you knew that already :) ) Thanks !Please see the detailed and numerous photos of the truck below: |
