| Amazingly solid and original California car NO RUST ORIGINAL PAINT - Cardinal Red (Factory Code VV)1962 Buick Skylark 2dr ConvertibleThis was built in Southern California (Factory code BC - which was the South Gate, CA factory) and spent it's entire life in the central valley of California.Original black plates and dealership license plate surroundsAlways garaged and covered. Original factory red paint, still has factory chalk mark in engine bay (see pic) - which also means no body filler, never repainted and all original metal. Does have chips in the paint (almost 60 years old) and a couple dents in the front fenders (see pics) I never fixed them because it's only original once and those dents are very hard to notice. All aluminum V8 215 cu inch engine - runs great, fresh oil change and tune up. Driven to the beach, work etc, drives greatoriginal 4bbl carbAuto Trans - works great, shifts great4 New tires - only about three weeks oldInterior in excellent condition no rips or tears in the seats or carpet. Dash is excellent condition as well.New Buick rubber floor matsOriginal dash clock works off and on so needs to be removed and cleanedConvertible top and boot cover in excellent shape, plastic rear window, it is a power top but doesn't work so now a manual top. A new motors is included but not hooked up. I never finished it because it is actually faster to put the top up and down manually. So hasn't been a priority to finish.All glass in excellent shape, no cracks, chips or discoloring.
