With only 3,640 total cars which were basically hand built, this ultimate classic has a great investment potential going forward. This particular car was ordered in Polo White with red interior and cream top. All 54 models came with the reliable 235 Inline "Blue Flame" 6 cylinder rated at 150HP in the earlier production models which this one is. The Corvette had a special 3 x 2 carburetor set-up with two chrome air-cleaners. Special engine shielding was installed on the passenger side of the engine and it was either painted or chrome plated. This particular car was in a private collection for many years. We have some of the original paperwork on the original owners and an original owner's manual. This classic roadster is somewhat of a survivor in that there is much originality to the car. It had been repainted a number of years back but the paint is still in very good condition. Original dash and factory AM radio, odometer reads 25,049 miles. Correct full wheel covers and wide whitewalls certainly add to the stock look of the car. Side glass windows are in good condition and still in the original red bag that mounts in the back of the trunk. Older soft top is in fair condition and may need replacing to match the rest of the quality of the car. Probably not used much as the fun of a Corvette convertible is to drive it with the top down! The first C 1 Corvettes will always be in demand. This is one you can jump in and drive and most likely never meet yourself coming down the road as many of these cars are in private collections or museums and never get driven. This would be a great car to drive. Vehicle Description The 1954 Corvette Roadster is the second year of production for this iconic Chevrolet car.
