CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER | |
---|---|
This is a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback that needs total restoration. It is a T code (originally a 6 cylinder) car that has been switched to a late 1980's 302 and 3 speed manual transmission and 5 bolt drum brakes, It has a Big bearing Ford 9 inch posi traction rear end in it! The engine is not stuck and turns over with a wrench but I have never heard it run. THIS CAR DOES NOT RUN OR DRIVE. IT NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION. It needs full floor pan and seat risers, rear frame rails, rear trunk pan and rear seat risers, rear outer wheelhouses and rear quarter panels as well as the trunk lid and rear taillight panel. It has new air shocks in the rear to keep the leaf springs from going through the trunk floors. The front sub frame and shock towers are in good shape and show NO signs of rust. This car was in a Quonset for 40 years and the front half was on concrete while the rear half was on dirt. Thus the rear rust. It is however a very complete 1965 Mustang Fastback! None of the rear interior panels have ever been removed and the dash has not been cut anywhere! This is as complete as you can get a Fastback project car. Car is located in Rosemount MN 55068 and is the buyers responsibility to make all shipping arrangements. It rolls and steers but has NO BRAKES or Park gear. Sold as is where is. No refunds of deposits of any kind. This is a real auction so please don't waste my time . |
