| 1962 International Harvester Scout 80Engine: IH 152 Side 4. 3 Speed High/Low (Has a High Low add on from IH, so its a 3 Speed with a High Low to add more power and gear selectivity)Mileage: 89,545Great Scout 80 for a restoration! I looked for two years to find this Scout and have only had it for a year. I did a lot in a year, but because of life changes (Kid on the way and Job Loss because of COVID) I will have to let it go to someone who can finish it. Please look over all of the information below and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!Background Information:I bought this Scout from a farmer in Denver. It was in a pole shed most of its life. He said that he had repainted in the 1990's to tan from the original green. Also, he said he redid the clutch in 2009. No papers came with the Scout, so no way of verifying his information to me. Items Replaced/Fixed in lastyear:- New dual carburetor with electric choke (ScoutParts.com Item)- New front and back shocks- Front breaks replaced with new disk breakconversation kit (all new bearings) (Scoutparts.com Item)- Back breaks fully redone and new (Drums, Pads &Wheel Cylinder) - New break master cylinder- New break light switch- New Rims and Tires (All 4)- New oil pan seal- New electronic fuel pump- New fuel line- New gas cap and filler mount- New heater blower motor - All new radiator hoses- New timing belt (Timing was also fixed and setcorrectly)- New battery - New battery cables- New spark plugs and wires- New fuse circuit box added- New ignition switch with new keys- LED fog Lights- New Door Seals (Driver, passenger and backwindow door)- Added floor rubber mats for bed and front- Rhino lined bed of truck- All new gauges added (RPM,Oil, Amps, Volts, Temp) (Temp line is rand, but haven’t plugged in yet.) - USB Charger Added- New Radio and JBL Speakers Added (Speaker in smallcabinets in bed, can be moved around)- New door handles with new locks (will sendoriginal ones with) (Scoutparts.com Item)- Added Side mirrors (Driver and Passenger)- New seat belts- Replaced all air intake hoses under the hoodNew Parts that will come the Scout:— New LED Head Lights— New Led turn lights— New Led Break lights— New high low headlight pull switch— New 2 speed windshield wipe motors with switchand blades— New radiator overflow tank— Windshield wiper tank and hoses— Horn and wiring kit— Turn light switch and horn controller— Gas pedal— New heat vent hose— Home made light wiring harness— New license plate holder with LED light— New turn light relay and harnessKnown things that need fixing:- Driver and passenger side rocker panels - Driver and passenger floor boards- E brake cable (stuck right now open)- Gas pedal and cable works but is not superstable (Have new pedal in the parts to replace)- Turn Signal switch get stuck (Have a new one inthe parts) | |
