It’s what every Mustang Enthusiasts wants And a Great Investment As Well!!! If you know the ‘64 ½ through ’66 Mustang Convertibles, you know a few important key points… They are Very Hot, Very Collectable, Very FUN, looks great and this one drives to the 9’s! Especially when you have the quintessential trifecta of options {Power Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering & Ice-Cold Air-Conditioning}. One of my all-time favorites, I love the feel and sound of this car and would not be afraid to take it anywhere! The engine has the perfect blend of torque and smooth sound through the exhaust. Push the Power Top Button down, hit the key and take off…its that simple. This is a car for shows (any level), cruise-ins, or investment grade for a museum or collection. My matching # Mustang is tight and rattle free. Every angle that you look at this car from, you see examples of a professional restoration, a very nicely owned and maintained car by all of us whom have been fortunate enough to care for it. The 289 comes to life through the exhaust creating a fantastic driving experience. Driving it 70 – 75 miles down the interstate feels right home when cruising around due to the overdrive transmission. It has just 12,490 miles put on it since it was restored about 10 years ago and still feels and looks like a new car to me. The car was always a Southern car being born in Georgia car and remaining there until it came to East Tennessee 9 years ago. It also includes the spare tire, jack bag and original console (See Pics). Things work as they should including but not limited to the Horn, Headlights/Taillights, Signals, Interior Dash, Gauges, Heat, AC, Speedometer, Wipers, Courtesy Lights, Stereo, Pwr Top, smooth shifting transmission, etc… Is this Mustang perfect? No and none of them are… I consider myself very particular and am usually much more critical of the cars in my collection than anyone else but try to be very forth-coming with details. I have recently noticed a couple of drops of transmission fluid when not driven for a while, as well as a few drops of pwr steering fluid [I will inspect both this week] That is about all that I can think to pick on the car. Why am I selling it: I have many other cars as well and am just reducing my collection to create space for a couple of other cars that I have that are coming back to my garage soon. I reserve the right to end this ad early due to having it for sale locally... I am pricing this car to sell and believe it will not last long so, do not hesitate to buy and please do so with absolute confidence! Please have finances in order prior to bidding as well. Purely as a hobby, I have been blessed to sell cars to buyers all over the country and internationally and take tremendous efforts in keeping a 100% feedback…that said, I have tried to be honest and accurate in all descriptions. I encourage however all to be responsible and inspect this vehicle if possible prior to bidding so that you can confirm my notes above or contact me with any questions at [email protected] or (865) 384-6017. Note: I have a clear Tennessee Title In My Name for my Mustang…I am not a business and this is a personal collection vehicle. If you are the winning bidder, please expect to send a $2,500 deposit within 72 hours and have plans to pick the car up within 7 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but I can assist with local direct carriers with both enclosed and open hauling available. If you have less than a positive 2 feedback, please contact me before bidding. Thanks for taking the time to look at my car and GOOD LUCK!
