CAR DESCRIPTION FROM SELLER
You are bidding on a real Canadian police car. This car is famous (if interested please look us up). Has original WORKING radios, sirens and lights to the car. ’68 Dodge Coronet 440 model which originally had a 440 hp motor and 727 trans. The original drivetrain was removed for another project and a 2018 Challenger Hellcat motor (from a wreck with approximately 3,000 miles on it) was installed. A specially built-GearStar GM4L85E transmission was installed. Other components added were Alterkation Front Suspension with Wilwood disc brakes, Dana 60 with new posi, new 4:11 gears, new longer axle studs and new brakes. Custom-made aluminum radiator with electric fans, new intercooler, and custom-made ram air intake system. The exhaust is TTI headers which go into 3” exhaust with remote-controlled cutouts for the zoomies. Brand new fuel tank converted over to run an in-tank style electric fuel pump capable of adding 900 hp. We are running the factory engine oil cooler and factory transmission/power steering cooler. Hemi Tuner Performance has been modifying the computer since we have changed both engine pulleys and tweaked the performance tune. We are trying to get it into the neighborhood of 800 – 850 hp. Currently running 11.2 quarter mile@124 mph, high 10s with the slicks and front skinnies. Normal highway speeds we are getting about 22 mpg in overdrive. CAR DOES NOT LEAK ANYTHING! NOT A DROP.The body is original and is nowhere near perfect, it’s just a driver. It was just built for the 2019 Hot Rod Power Tour but after Hot Rod did a feature on it the car went viral and we spent all of 2019 driving the car around 8 states doing drag races, burnout contests, dyno pulls, and even Auto Cross. It has been featured by Hot Rod, Roadkill Extra, Roadkill Nights and was in an episode of Roadkill. And many other events. This is not a show car. It does have dings and dents and was probably painted 15 years ago. It has had some body work. The hood has been louvered to extract heat. It is not a rot bucket and definitely not going to win for best paint. I’m sure you could restore the car and make it pristine if you choose but we just made it a driver to have fun with. The car runs perfectly. Never had an issue in the 6,000 miles we put on it. Needs nothing. Turnkey. Interior is in decent shape. All pretty much original. Gauges work, including the speedometer. Transmission shifting is done by the original column shifter and has its own separate stand-alone computer by CompuShift. It comes with handheld computer which is mounted on the radio equipment. You can fully adjust and control the transmission performance even while driving the car and you can also do it via Bluetooth on your phone. All of the lights, directional, horns, wipers, fuel gauge, speedo, alt and police lights all work. All of the doors and windows work as well. She drives nice and straight. In race fashion it takes off hard and straight and is not squirrely in any way. My wife even drag races the car. It’s that easy to drive, not buggy. Just get in and drive. It does have a single DIN stereo with Bluetooth and USB ports. It does have old speakers in the back though. All receipts and instruction manuals come with the car. Fly in and drive it home if you chose. Notes: Car does not have air conditioning and the heater core was bypassed for the Hellcat installation. It did have heat with the original motor. It does have the words “Police” on it and red lenses on the car which will probably be illegal in most states, cities and counties. We are not responsible for anything once you purchase the car for any violations you may incur. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to purchase. It is currently titled and registered for street use in Ohio and we have had no problems and driven it through 8 states without any incidents. In the main picture it shows it with the Billet Specialties aluminum racing rims with ET slicks and skinnies up front. These come with the purchase. The police-looking rims and tires as seen in the other photos which include the dog dish hubcaps, 15” steel wheels (7”front/10” rear) and N50 tires will be mounted on the car. A set of new N50x15 tires will also go with it if not already replaced prior to the sale.Car does have factory seat belts but does not have a roll cage or safety harnesses.
