| Chevrolet Other . I took #1615 for a shake down test drive! She did very well. Adjusted the shift linkage, double checked timing, set warm temp idle to 1500 rpm, adjusted a bracket on the exhaust hanger to eliminate a rattle before the test drive. Car drove great. Transmission is useable, but bad synchros and the yellow speedo gear has come free, so speedometer doesn't work. But other than that, she drove great! 29,000 miles on her, she's roadworthy again, last on the road in the early 1990s! (The car is originally from the San Francisco area, explains the transmission issues! When I had the engine out to re-gasket it, the clutch disc was REALLY worn out. Replaced that with a new one. This car ended up being sent to Michigan in the 80s to be stored, and the owner sold it. bought it out of a barn last fall, and we got to work to get her roadworthy). Car comes with a spare Used 4 speed transmission, condition unknown. Undercarriage is extremely solid. No Rust. The only rust area is under the battery tray area. Battery tray is bolted in and safe.Paint is not Perfect! See pics for paint condition.
