Southern California Hot Rod This custom 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe is the product of a 5-year, frame off, nut & bolt restoration. Its powered by a custom-built, modified 1954-55, 261 CI Chevrolet Stovebolt engine that's shifted through a completely rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. This Fleetline is equipped with custom-built dual, single barrel Rochester B carburetors, new Fenton powder coated manifold and headers, Wayne valve covers, Vintage Hot Rod Air conditioning & heating system and new custom Borla exhaust. It's also equipped with a new Fat Man Mustang II front end with 2-1/2"drop, Ford 8" rear with 3:40 gears, front disc brakes. The exterior is finished in PPG Matte Black paint with silver blend and orange stripes, chromed original front & rear bumpers, new glass & rubber and new vintage smoothie wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Silvertown tires. The interior features new custom carpet, headliner & floor mats, a custom painted dash housing new Auto Meter gauges, new Glide front seat, new Flaming River tilt steering column topped with a Con2r steering wheel, Lokar pedals and handles and a new Pioneer custom audio system in the glovebox. |
