| Selling my early 71 Datsun Series 1 240z. The only real major rust is in the dog legs, rear tailight panel is rusted and both quarter panel wheel arches but does come with patch panels to fix them. Missing lower radiator support but comes with one to fix it. The floors look pretty solid, other then a spot near the front of the firewall, battery tray seems to be just surface rust and the frame rails are decent other than the reinforcement plates in the front wheel well, that always rust on these. Dash is uncracked and original. The interior is 90% complete. Seat are in decent condition for it's age. Overall the car is solid for a project Datsun. It's a 50 year old project that will need work. No engine or transmission. Has a R200 diff in it. Has all the original glass no cracks. Vin # is HLSS30-12148, build date is 10/70 comes with Vermont registration. I can hold the car for about 2 weeks after it's sold. | |
